i responded to jeff hogue's invitation to join in with blueglass knowing it would for the most part always be an interaction via digital means. blueglass is located in the usa.
in late 2024Â i was moved to speak about my thoughts. these included an idea of working with donated files, sound, video or something else and to combine these into something i can share with the community and for that to then be responded to/added to. there was at the time a broader discussion around microbes.
in wanting to explore the subject of microbes and their connectivity i became curious about how can i be an "active" member living in a different country.
i came up with an experiment framed as answering three questions:
- what would you like to tell me?
- what would you like to know more about?
- what would you want to go back to?
i described an outline project idea to chat gpt, the engine came back with suggestions now held on an external blog.

in the evolution of what blueglass might be, three os us have been meeting via zoom to work on respective ideas and projects. over the course of the studio play zooms i have explored various tasks and ideas. the most exciting being experimenting with a version of automatic writing in the form of mark making - while listening to a dj set. i loose myself in the process.
